EFFORTS DATABASE

EFFORTS system is equipped with a relational database (SQL-SERVER, ORACLE, MYSQL) to store topographic and hydro-meteorological data such as location, name and description of the hydro-meteorological stations, rivers cross-sections, rating curves, warning thresholds, time series of raw and sampled data and time series of flood forecasting results.

REAL-TIME FLOOD FORECASTING MODELS

EFFORTS is provided as a turnkey system, including all models and tools to perform flood forecasting. Standard configuration includes:

• Tools for data validation, sampling, transformation and gap filling;
• RAINMUSIC software for spatial interpolation and multi-sensor data combination;
• TOPKAPI fully-distributed and physically based hydrological model;
• PAB hydraulic model;
• Tools for evaluation of uncertainty in flood forecasts (MISP).

REAL-TIME ENGINE (SCHEDULER)

The real-time engine manages data acquisition and computational models runs.
